VOD. MediaHighway fully supports different VOD solutions (cable, satellite, hybrid, IPTV). Integrated with NDS VideoGuard™ conditional access, these solutions enable various business scenarios.
Home networks. As new devices for the digital home become available, MediaHighway offers new features such as transferring DVR recordings to different devices inside the home, and streaming music, photos, and videos stored on the PC to the STB, using UPnP/DLNA standard.

Technical requirements. MediaHighway is scalable and versatile. It has been deployed on dozens of different hardware platforms using more than 20 different chipsets with various memory sizes and peripheral support. MediaHighway EPG is upgradable and changeable on a daily basis using dedicated EPG tools.
Third party applications. The MediaHighway Development Kit (MHDK) facilitates development of advanced interactive and gaming applications by using standard authoring tools. It simplifies development by simulating, debugging and pre-integrating the completed application on a PC or STB before deployment.
